I got this text today:
Throw It Out Thursday: "Resentment is like taking poison & waiting for the other person to die." Today, free yourself from *that* grudge, Maritza.
WHY: Forgiveness is for you. Grudges (from deep-rooted issues to a hatin' peer) are corrosive to health, even if subconscious
HOW: Acknowledge your own hurt & choose to forgive. Practice letting go: envision good things happening to the person & imagine the lightness you'd feel.
It takes time & is def not always easy, but you deserve to live spite-free, Maritza.
